Accountant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and support overall financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be well-versed in accounting principles, and possess a high level of integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and statements in compliance with regulations and company policies.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including reconciliations and payment processing.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and budgets.
Monitor and manage cash flow, banking activities, and general ledger.
Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and ledger accounts.
Assist with audits, tax filing, and statutory compliance.
Support payroll processing and ensure accurate deductions and reporting.
Provide financial analysis and forecasting to aid strategic decision-making.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations (e.g., IFRS, GAAP, local tax laws).
Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for all financial records.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional qualification (e.g., ICAN, ACA, ACCA) is an added advantage.
Minimum of [2–5] years of relevant accounting experience.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho Books, or SAP).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
Working Hours:
9 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday
May be required to work extended hours during reporting or emergent periods.
