Job Brief

We are seeking a reliable and energetic Runner to support back-of-house operations and assist the wait staff team in ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery. The ideal candidate should be physically fit, able to follow instructions, and communicate effectively. This role requires basic literacy and the ability to use a smartphone for work-related tasks.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Support back-of-house operations by moving items between the kitchen, service areas, and storage

• Assist the wait staff team during service periods to ensure timely and efficient service

• Deliver food, beverages, supplies, and other items as instructed

• Clear, reset, and restock service areas as required

• Ensure prompt communication between kitchen and front-of-house staff

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned back-of-house areas

• Follow instructions from supervisors and shift leads

• Report delays, shortages, or operational issues promptly

• Comply with company policies, safety standards, and hygiene regulations

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: High School Diploma

• Ability to read and write effectively

• Must be able to use a smartphone for basic work communication

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Physically fit and able to work on foot for extended periods

• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

• Ability to work under supervision and in a fast-paced environment

• Previous experience in hospitality or a similar support role is an added advantage but not mandatory
