We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Officer to manage and oversee stock levels, ensure accurate inventory records, and support efficient supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking stock movements, minimizing losses, and ensuring the availability of materials to support business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records (inflow and outflow of stock)
  • Conduct regular stock counts (daily, weekly, and monthly) and reconcile discrepancies
  • Track inventory levels and report shortages, damages, or expired items
  • Coordinate with procurement and store teams to ensure timely restocking
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory items
  • Prepare inventory reports and submit to management as required
  • Implement inventory control procedures to reduce loss and wastage
  • Maintain proper documentation of stock transactions
  • Support audits by providing necessary inventory data and records

Requirements

  • Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 1–3 years experience in inventory management, storekeeping, or a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Good numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Integrity and accountability in handling stock
